Accounting Studies (Post-Degree Diploma), Douglas College - New Westminster

This Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting Studies is designed for students who already have a bachelor’s degree in a field outside of commerce or business administration and want to start a career in accounting. The program equips students with essential skills and knowledge needed for roles like financial accounting, cost accounting, and financial management. It offers flexible day and evening classes throughout the year, making it accessible to part-time or full-time students. Additional support is available through the Advanced Career Development program, which helps students prepare for part-time paid or volunteer work, and provides workshops, coaching, and networking opportunities. Graduates will be prepared to pursue further education or enter the workforce as junior- to intermediate-level accountants, and can seamlessly transfer into advanced programs like the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting for more senior roles. The program partially satisfies the requirements of the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
