Master of Science in Environmental Science, Deakin University

The Master of Science in Environmental Science at Deakin is designed for students who want to deepen their understanding of environmental sciences through independent research that is both sustained and academically supervised. Throughout the program, students engage with complex knowledge within their chosen areas, guided by internationally recognized research staff from the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment. The program emphasizes developing an advanced, integrated understanding of environmental issues, with students expected to contribute substantially to existing knowledge via a thesis of up to 50,000 words. While the focus is on research, students will also complete at least one coursework unit, supporting their expertise and career development.
