For the three-year course, students need to complete 120 credits in Year 1 and Year 2, including compulsory modules in their chosen language and film studies, along with optional modules. Year 3 (or final year) involves selecting 60 credits of advanced film modules, 30 credits of compulsory language modules, and 30 credits of content-related language modules. An optional international year abroad can be taken, involving either study or work placement, which counts as part of the degree and requires spending 6 to 15 months abroad.
