About this course
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry is a four-year program that prepares students for a career in primary healthcare focusing on eye health. The course combines scientific studies with extensive clinical practice to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students start with foundational science subjects and gradually transition into hands-on clinical experience at the National Optometry Centre, the only such facility in Ireland.
