Applicants need to score at least 308 CAO points in 2024 and meet the minimum entry requirements, including six subjects at Leaving Certificate level: H5 in two subjects and O6/H7 in four others, with Mathematics and English or Irish included. Foundation level Maths with a grade of F2 or above also satisfies the Maths requirement. Additionally, vetting by An Garda Síochána is mandatory for applicants.
