Diploma in Illustration, Seneca Polytechnic

This two-year creative diploma program at Seneca's School of Creative Arts & Animation combines traditional and digital illustrative media with freelance business skills to help students succeed as professional illustrators. Over the course of 16 months, students will develop their visual art skills through activities such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting, and digital media. The program specializes in areas like children’s book illustration, comics, editorial illustration, and concept art for film and game animation. Alongside artistic development, students will learn essential entrepreneurial skills, including website development, accounting, marketing, and revenue generation, to prepare them for the business side of their art careers.
