This is a two-year Ontario college diploma program designed to prepare students for a career in aircraft maintenance. Applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including Grade 12 English and Math (C or U). Alternative pathways include mature student status or completion of the Pre-Technology preparatory program. Graduates can pursue careers as aircraft maintenance apprentices, airport flight line technicians, or work in aerospace manufacturing industries including engine, landing gear, and aircraft systems manufacturing. They are also eligible to start the process of obtaining a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license in the M1 or M2 categories, which enables work on fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft internationally.
