Established in the mid-1930s, Red River College or RRC is the biggest applied learning and research institute in the province of Manitoba, Canada. There are three major campuses of Red River College Polytechnic in Winnipeg. Out of these, the largest one is the Red River College - Notre Dame Campus.
The Red River College - Notre Dame Campus houses most of this institute’s transportation technology, health sciences, skilled trades, and engineering programs. This campus location is home to the athletic teams of RRC Polytech - the Rebels.
It also hosts computer labs, two gyms, student lounges, Tim Hortons, applied research labs and many other facilities. The Awards and Financial Aid Office of RRC offers several support services to students that cover information on financial assistance programs available to Manitoba students.
In 2020, this institute administered bursaries, scholarships and awards, totaling over $2.9 million for helping students achieve their academic goals. The tuition fees at this institute vary across programs. Besides this, there are several other fees that students need to pay wherever applicable. Some of these fee types include Student Services Fee, Technology Fee, Material Fee, Technology Infrastructure Fee, Canadian Nursing Student Association Fee, Supplemental Exam Fee and several others.
Domestic aspiring candidates should submit a non-refundable application fee ranging between $100 to $120 with every application. Aspiring international candidates should submit a non-refundable application fee amounting anywhere between $130 to $160 with each application.
The Student Employment Services of RRC Polytech prepares students for becoming employment ready. It extends a complete range of employment supports and services for employers and alumni. This includes Job Central which is an online job board. Red River College alumni can access Student Employment Services within 6 months of their graduation.
