Based in Kelowna, Canada, the Centre for Arts and Technology (C.A.T) is a private digital art school that has secured the British Columbia Education Quality Assurance (EQA). Renowned for its high employment rates after graduation, this school is a part of the Private Training Institutions located in British Columbia.
Centre for Arts and Technology Kelowna extends part-time and full-time diplomas and courses in audio-visual arts. The courses include vet hospital assistance, photography, graphic design, filmmaking, and music recording, which range from 6 to 24 months.
Centre for Arts and Technology and British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) engaged in a partnership to create the CAT-BCIT program. This is a cross-institutional agreement enabling graduates of CAT an entry into BCIT’s School of Business.
Besides this, there are Pathfinder Programs which are internal programs that extend an opportunity to high school students in Grade 11 and 12 to pursue a post-secondary course while they are still in high school.
Students aged 19 years or older with a secondary school diploma or equivalent are eligible for admission at this campus. Besides this, they must be a landed immigrant, Canadian citizens, or an international student with valid visas. However, there are four program starting dates in a calendar year, i.e., January, April, July, and October; most intakes and starting of all programs occur in October.
