University of Kentucky expects you to have a 3.5 GPA and be in the middle of your high school class. You'll need a mix of A's and B's, with a few C's thrown in for good measure. If you have a poor GPA, you can make up for it by taking more difficult courses such as AP or IB subjects.

The University of Kentucky's admissions process is more stringent, with a 96 percent acceptance rate. Half of those accepted to the University of Kentucky had a SAT score of 1070-1280 or an ACT score of 22-29.
