Applicants must be over the age of compulsory school attendance in West Virginia and have a high school diploma (official transcript with graduation date necessary).
Regular freshman entry requires an overall Grade Point Average of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale, an ACT Composite score of 19 or SAT Total Score1 of 990, or an overall Grade Point Average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and an ACT Composite of 16 or SAT Total Score1 of 880. Admission standards for majors in the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences are more stringent.
