The following are the eligibility criteria and language requirements for applying to various programmes at Montana State University that are available to overseas students:

Eligibility for Undergraduates

The applicant must have graduated from a recognised high school.
In the qualifying examination/high school examination, a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a US scale of 4.0 is required.
For some courses, SAT or ACT scores may be required.

Eligibility for Graduates

An accredited institute or board must have awarded the candidate a bachelor's degree.
During undergraduate education, a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B+ grade is necessary.
For some courses, a GRE or GMAT score is necessary.

International Students' English Requirements

International students from non-English-speaking countries, such as India, must demonstrate their language competency with one of the standardised English exam scores listed below:
