It is not an institutional decision to need an ACT or SAT test result for admissions consideration. Florida Atlantic University, like Florida's other 11 public universities, is bound by Florida Board of Governors admissions regulation 6.002, which mandates that first-year applicants present an ACT or SAT test result.
