Answer

It Ends With Us is a book I read recently. It's by the author Colleen Hoare. It's mainly a story about two teenagers, Atlas and Lily, and how they just handle their life going through high school, adolescence, and just domestic violence at home. Both of them come from very, very different families. However, they have one common determining factor between them, which is domestic violence. The abuse that they've seen their moms go through is just insane, and they connect through that on a different level. They're actually in the same high school, but they never speak to each other until Atlas actually crashes into an empty house next to Lily's villa. When Atlas is homeless and he doesn't have anywhere to go, he just comes and breaks into the house next to Lily's, and Lily helps him with all the daily necessities like clothes and food, medicines and stuff. Furthermore, their friendship blossoms into love, but it doesn't really fructify as Atlas has to leave. This book really gave me a lot of knowledge about domestic abuse and how to deal with it.

I work as a teacher and in my institute we are required to wear a uniform which is beige color pants and cream color shirts. The uniform is same for both male and female faculties. The main purpose of this uniform is to create a unison amongst all the teachers and also it associates, it bridges the gap between us and the students. They should not feel that we impose the rules just on them and we do not follow similar rules. So having a uniform for teachers is a very good initiative I feel. Also the beige color brings out the maturity of that role. It's better to avoid the flamboyant colors like pink or light green which does attract attention but delivers a very different message to the young minds. So having a beige color uniform sends a good message to the students and they feel much more welcoming.

Apart from the school uniform, as a part of our school uniform, we should wear our shoes black and white shoes. But as we know, we are going to school to learn something, not showing our fashion sense. So that's, I know.

So I wore it every day during my school days, when I was first admitted, my father bought my uniform, I was white and light blue in color, that school uniform was my favorite because when I first joined the school, the school authorized had a special design but it was altered to a unique color, they took my measurements to pick the right fit, then all the students bought their uniform for the same company, the student and convenient. So on summer day, we felt comfortable in that uniform, it bring back memory of my school life, school life is the most memorable part of my life, so whenever I see my school uniform, I feel like I am a child again.

To begin with, we used to wear uniforms all the five working days of our school, out of which Monday, Wednesday and Friday would be for our official uniform, which was a checkered white shirt and a black pleated skirt, which was supposed to be knee length. And on alternative days, that is Tuesday and Thursday of every week, we used to have sports classes for which we were supposed to wear nylon shirts, which were provided by school as well as nylon shorts that were also supposed to be knee length. So, all my school life I have worn these two clothes, but additionally we were allowed to wear casual clothes on our birthdays or the week of our birthdays to celebrate in school. Me and my parents used to go shopping every year because every year since I was in a growing period, we used to go for shopping, then have lunch, then come back home. And to be more specific, it was Christmas.

The last time I wore a uniform is back at my, when I was studying at Mahatma, so Mahatma is my school. I was not fond of wearing uniforms at that time because just children's fancy love wearing color dresses, right? So I was studying at that time, so obviously my parents purchased that uniform from me, from the school uniform tiler. So there was a tiler who was affiliated with the school and from there we get all the uniform sets for the whole academic year. Whenever I was wearing the uniform I feel like I was just trapped. The reason being I was trapped as in I was not feeling good about it because if I am wearing that uniform I definitely knew that I had to go to school and it had this checked patterns and the uniform was pink in color with a tie and a white shirt inside. Basically you wear a pinot form, inside the pinot form you wear a white shirt paired with a school badge, school tie as well as a belt and I was not feeling good although if you ask me right now I definitely miss the feeling of wearing a uniform but I still remember the creepy Mondays where I had to wake up and get ready, wear the pink color uniform, go to school via school bus and I had to write the maths exam. That was a kind of a not so pleasant moment at that point of time but now I just cherish them.
