Douglas College was founded in 1970 as a public degree-granting college in Canada. It has two branches; Douglas College—New Westminster offers university and degree courses. Apart from these two wings, it has many small training centres across Surrey.
It has both on-campus and off-campus study options for students. Several national and international students study here every year to kick-start their careers and climb the career ladder. Douglas College—New Westminster enrols more than 24,000 students annually. This strength comprises approximately 17,000 credit students and another 8,500 continuing students.
