Required Credentials

• The Office of International Admissions examines all foreign academic credentials as a service to candidates. All papers submitted as part of the application process become Old Dominion University's property and are not returnable.
• Official transcripts, translations, and standardized tests must be provided directly to the Office of International Admissions at Old Dominion University, sealed and stamped by the university or testing organisation.
• The Registrar or the Principal/Controller of Examinations are examples of testing authorities.
• Academic transcripts and course descriptions in both English and one's native language are necessary when English is not the language of instruction. Academic documents not written in English must be accompanied by certified official translations by a licensed or professional translator. The student's translations of official documents will not be accepted.
