• A professional, full-time resident hall director or area coordinator. The director collaborates with graduate and resident assistants to provide healthy and pleasant learning environments
• All entrance doors and student rooms have swipe-card locks
• For enhanced security, there are safety helpers and campus escorts
• Wireless connectivity throughout the building
• The building has laundry facilities
• Community connectivity, maintenance, and cleaning concerns are handled by area service desks

Note: During the fall, Thanksgiving, winter, and spring breaks, Kent State residence halls remain open.
