ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT

Only if you were raised in an environment where English is the ONLY official language of your neighbourhood and nation, and English has been the predominant language used in your home, may English be considered your primary language for the purposes of applying for admission to Iowa State University.

Applicants who do not speak English as their first language must achieve the English proficiency criterion in one of the ways mentioned below.

Students may upload a scanned copy of results to apply to Iowa State University. If you are admitted we will then need official scores directly from the testing agency sent to Iowa State University.
