Admissions Requirements

As a student from abroad, you must:

• Show evidence of adequate academic English proficiency, often at CEFR level B1. Portsmouth College advises a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 overall (with no component lower than 5) for student visa applications in order to excel academically.
• When submitting your application, be sure to show that you are qualified to study at the Level 3 level in the subjects you've chosen by providing proof of your credentials and meeting any requirements specific to those subjects, such as submitting a portfolio of your work if you're applying to one of the Art courses.
• Complete a Skype interview successfully with the College to discuss and evaluate your subject choices.
