Placements

ACCUPLACER is the primary placement assessment used by Lethbridge College. You may be required to complete all or part of the ACCUPLACER assessment if you are applying to a programme as a mature student or international student, or if you are applying to the Academic Upgrading programme. If the students are unable to complete the ACCUPLACER assessment at Lethbridge College, they can do it at one of the regional campuses, with an off-campus proctor, or online. They will need to fill out an out-of-town request for placement testing form for each of these possibilities.

The ACCUPLACER assessment is used to demonstrate one's abilities and knowledge so that the students can be put in programmes or courses that are appropriate for them. Admissions specialists can utilize the scores to suggest programmes that are appropriate for one's skill level.
