  • Charles Sturt University is a public university established in 1989 in New South Wales, Australia. It has three faculties, namely Arts and Education, Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences, and Science which are further divided into schools and centres. More than 43,697 students (of which 10,623 are international students) are enrolled in undergraduate (85+), postgraduate and research programs. Some of the courses taught here are Viticulture, Speech Pathology, Applied Finance, Criminal Justice and Gerontology. 
  • There are six Charles Sturt University campuses; Dubbo, Albury-Wodonga, Orange, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga, and several specialist campuses and study centres. Multiple printed and online resources can be found at the six campus libraries and the three study centre libraries. The university offers over 250 online courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Social Work, Business Administration and Medical Laboratory Science. To help students acquire professional skills, it provides several short online courses such as micro-credentials and single subjects. 
  • Moreover, those who wish to experience university-level academics can opt for the free online Open Pathways courses. Students from other universities can study at Charles Sturt University through the Cross-institutional learning program online or offline. The study abroad program allows students to participate in short-term programs, exchanges with 50+ partners worldwide, global internships, work placements, volunteer work and more. 
  • Financial assistance is available to students in loans, grants, bursaries, awards and scholarships like HELP loans, Emergency Equity Grant, Australian Government Scholarships, CAL Scholarship etc. Traditional and modern student accommodation is provided on six campuses, at Macquarie Village, Traditional Diggings, Spring Creek Village etc.

Students can join several clubs and societies and participate in competitive/social sports such as rugby, hockey and netball.
