Academic Requirements

Undergraduate

• Must have a cumulative unweighted G.P.A. of 2.25 or above on a scale of 4.00
• A combined SAT ERW+M score of 1060 on the SAT ERW+M OR a composite A.C.T. score of 21 or higher

Masters

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally authorised university or a recognised institution in another country that has Bachelor's degree criteria that are generally equal to those in the United States
• Achieved a G.P.A. of at least 3 in all graduate work

Doctoral

• A Bachelor's degree from a regionally authorised university or a recognised institution in another nation with Bachelor's degree requirements that are essentially equivalent to those in the United States. The foundation for awarding credits for the Bachelor's degree must be compatible with Wichita State's policies and procedures for awarding such credit
• Students must have a G.P.A. of at least three from a U.S. institution or its equivalent from an international institution for programmes where a bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for admission, including any post-bachelors graduate work
• In all graduate-level coursework, students must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.250 from a U.S. institution or its equivalent from an international institution for programmes where the minimum criterion for admission is a master's degree

English Requirements

Students from other countries who do not speak English as their first language must demonstrate their ability to converse in English. The institution accepts the following international English tests as proof. It does, however, recognise country-specific credentials for Indian U.G. applicants, such as Grade 12 English Core subject grades. Each major's minimum score standards may differ.
