The Valencia College was founded as a Valencia Junior College in 1967, later naming it Valencia community college. It is a public college situated in Orlando, Florida. This college has various campus locations in Orlando, with additional campuses locations in Kissimmee and Winter Park. This institution is operational in 8 campuses and three sites, encompassing Orange County and Osceola County.
The Valencia college especially trains next-generation people regarding public safety by utilising modern technology and advanced simulation training. This college is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges.
Among multiple other campuses, the East Campus of this college is situated at 701, North Econlockhatchee Trail in East Orange County. This campus proudly boasts of serving nearly 21, 000 students yearly. Moreover, this campus is primarily home to three regional UCF campuses. The students of this particular campus enjoy general education classes and receive an A.A. degree. For friendly, professional, and caring staff and faculty, this campus has received acknowledgement in several academic areas.
With more than 120 programs combining two and four-year degrees, students will receive similar education as a state university. At Valencia College, students need to complete an associate degree before shifting into a baccalaureate program. Students can explore a wide range of bachelor’s degrees in various disciplines such as Cardiopulmonary Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, Nursing, Radiologic and Imaging Sciences etc. In the East campus, students can attend various programs such as Finance specialisation, Associate in Science degree, Marketing specialisation, Web development specialisation, Graphic and Interactive design specialisation etc.
Besides, each campus is equipped with top-notch libraries where students can get access to a comprehensive range of educational resources, periodicals, e-books, journals, online databases and multimedia resources etc. Moreover, with an acceptance rate of nearly 100%, students can explore multiple career opportunities and pursue higher education in other top universities in the U.S.
