Campus Life

Welcome to Housing and Residence Life

Apartment-style residence halls are available from the Department of Housing and Residence Life, with a variety of floor layouts ranging from small efficiency to two- and four-bedroom units. There are additional study rooms, amusement areas, private mailboxes, and administrative offices in the community spaces. At UTEP, all resident halls are coed, and ADA-compliant rooms are provided.

Students who live on campus are more likely than those who reside off campus to graduate on time, have a higher GPA, and be satisfied with their college experience. It's easy to manage study, recreation, and socialising because classes and university services are near by.
