To be considered for entry into the ACP, applicants who have never been admitted to a Texas authorised Educator Preparation Program (EPP) must complete the following requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
• 2.75 cumulative GPA or 2.75 minimum GPA in the previous 60 semester credit hours (SCH)
• Pass the Pre-admission Content Test (PACT) for the certification area you want to pursue. More information on the PACT registration process can be found here.
• The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is needed for international students: https://www.ets.org/toefl/test-takers/ibt/take/.  According to the TEA, the minimum passing scores are 24 for speaking, 22 for listening, 22 for reading, and 21 for writing.
• Attend a pre-arranged interview with the College of Education Faculty/Leadership
