Admissions for international students
International students are admitted to the University of Northern Iowa if they meet the following criteria:
- Completion of a senior secondary or high school education is required.
- Minimum grade point requirements were met.
- Official academic records and transcripts are necessary.
- Before the deadline, I verified that I had adequate finances to cover the academic year's tuition charge.
Admissions to the undergraduate programme
Undergraduate programmes are available at the University of Northern Iowa in Business, Communication & Media, Education and Training, Health, Medical & Social Services, Human Behavior and Culture, Art, Music, Design and Theatre, Literature and Writing, and other fields. However, aspirants should submit their transcripts, which should be assessed, confirmed, and sent in a sealed envelope from the sending institution.
Admission requirements: At the time of admission, applicants must present the following documents:
- Transcript and certificate from high school.
- Score on the SAT/ACT
- For International Students, an English Proficiency Test is required.
Admissions to Graduate School
Graduate programmes in Arts & Humanities, Behavioural & Health Sciences, Education, Business, Government & Non-Profit, and Science & Technology are available at the University of Northern Iowa. On a scale of 4.0, students must have a General GPA of 3.0 or higher. In order to be considered for admission to the University of Northern Iowa, you must have a three-year bachelor's degree.
