Campus Life

On-Campus Accommodation

Residence halls, student apartments, campus apartments, and cooperatives are among the accommodation alternatives that UC Davis provides for its students. A collaboration between the Student Housing facilities and other private apartment complexes manages the Student Housing Apartments.

All student residence facilities and structures are situated on the university campus to guarantee that the students live in a cohesive community. On campus, a few private residences and cooperative societies are run by personal management by their contracts with UC Davis. There might also be some SHA residences nearby but off-campus.

  • Residence Halls: There are 23 residence halls spread among the Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto neighbourhoods. Segundo is on the northwest corner of the central campus, Tercero is on the southwest corner of the central campus, and Cuarto is a block to the northwest of the central campus. All of these are situated on the west side of the main campus
  • University Apartments: Student Housing and Dining Services are in charge of the campus residence, which is called Solano Park. Other than the University Student Living Apartment, there are a number of other possibilities for student housing that work in conjunction with facilities for private apartments. Both on and outside (near) the university is where these residences are situated
