For Indian applicants, the University of Arizona has announced the following program-specific qualifying criteria:
Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduates
Basic Academic Qualification: Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 completed with a minimum overall 'B' or 50% aggregate.
Eligibility Requirements for Graduate Students
Standardized Exams: Some programmes need the GRE.
Academic Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree with a four-year accreditation*
- Bachelor's and master's degrees with a three-year accreditation*
- A three-year bachelor's degree with accreditation* and a postgraduate diploma
- Only a three-year bachelor's degree**
*The National Assessment and Accreditation Council must accredit the institution (NAAC).
Proficiency in English (either):
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79 (or 60 on revised PBT with no section score lower than 15)
- IELTS: Minimum Composite score of 7 with no subject area scoring below 6
- A score of 60 or above on the PTE Academic
- The Center for English as a Second Language offers a graduate English language endorsement (CESL)
- CEPT - UA's Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) offers a full academic test: A total score of 110 is required.
MBA Eligibility Criteria
GRE or GMAT are two standardised exams.
Two years of work experience is required (preferred)
Basic Academic Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree from an NAAC-accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.
Proficiency in English (either):
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 100
- Minimum Composite of 7 bands in IELTS
- A score of 68 or above on the PTE Academic
- A minimum score of 126 is required.
