The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa

Although the University of Alabama lacks a traditional placement cell, it does have a Career Center that offers a wide range of services to help students find the jobs they want. 

A few examples of the career services are:

• The University of Alabama's online hiring platform is called Handshake Portal, and it allows students to access job postings
• According to the University's yearly report, more than 31,000 authorised employment were advertised for students
• Engaging Career Consultants
• Workshops
• Fairs for jobs
• During special occasions like the UA IN series, the Career Center hosts a number of networking events. These gatherings enable students to network with former classmates, employers, and other students.

The University of Alabama graduates were assigned to several areas.

• 42 per cent of University of Alabama grads opted to remain in Alabama
• 58 per cent of University of Alabama graduates found employment outside of Alabama
• Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, New York, California, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C. were more states where University of Alabama alumni was hired
