Outside of the classroom, you will learn a lot in college. We're a residential campus because we believe that living in community teaches vital life lessons.
You'll make new friends and learn a respect for various cultures whether you live in a residence hall, a small living unit (SLU), a house, or pledge a fraternity (sororities are non-residential).
You'll also start making the kinds of decisions that come with living away from home. If you need support, Residential Life's professional staff and student assistants will work with you to solve problems, address personal challenges, and, if necessary, send you to additional resources. Students make Ohio Wesleyan their home for all four years of their studies because it is a residential campus.
What distinguishes an Ohio Wesleyan education, in our opinion, is the immersion and engagement in a residential community where leadership skills are refined, enduring friendships are formed, and life lessons are acquired - all of which complement academic and classroom experiences.
We hope that no matter where you reside on campus, you will discover a welcoming community to call home.
