Campus Life

On-Campus Housing

More and more, NJIT students are choosing to live on campus. Over 2,000 students live on campus at NJIT in one of its four residence halls.

Each room is air-conditioned, completely furnished, and equipped with high-speed internet and cable television. There are also lounges, study areas, leisure areas, a laundry facility, and vending machines in each hall.

The obvious benefits of on-campus housing are close access to classrooms, dining halls, the gym, the library, and your friends. Living on campus provides students with a variety of benefits, including convenient proximity to New York City (20 minutes by train), NJPAC, The Newark Museum, Rutgers University-Newark, and the opportunity to be self-sufficient, learning to live independently and make decisions.
