The university provides a wide range of living possibilities. At S&T, the students will feel completely at home whether they wish to join a fraternity or sorority, live in regular resident halls, or specialise communities.

The university provides multiple Residence Halls for students to live in a friendly, inclusive, safe, and comfortable environment. The students will be making memories which will last a lifetime. A few Residential halls are: 

1. Thomas Jefferson Hall

• The only in-hall dining facility is housed in the two-tower Thomas Jefferson residential life housing complex, which is situated on the north side of campus

2. Residential Commons

• Among the suite-style accommodations available, the Residential Commons have double suites, double-deluxe suites, and single-deluxe suites

3. University Commons

• The newest residential development, University Commons, offers apartment-style living with options for four single and four double bedrooms

4. Rolla Suites

• The Rolla Suites complex consists of two buildings, North and South, each of which houses an efficiency-style room with a private bathroom.

5. Miner Village

• An apartment-style development called Miner Village comprises five buildings with two to four bedrooms each and a central clubhouse with extra amenities.
