The GPP combines classroom instruction with experiential learning, service leadership, and workshops with a focus on careers. The programme is facilitated through seminars and one-on-one consultations and is created to prepare students who want to go into the workforce or graduate school once they graduate. It has a developmental structure for all grade levels, with each year building on the one before it. Students complete the fundamental criteria for career development in their freshman and sophomore years. They receive a taste of inclusive excellence and financial wellness in their junior year.

In their final semesters, students start to concentrate on professional skills relevant to job searching and interviewing, such as honing their resumes and cover letters, developing their interviewing techniques, conducting a 30-minute mock interview with a real employer, learning business etiquette, and going to job fairs. GPP aids in all these processes.
