Mills College

Students have the chance to deepen their comprehension of what they learn through fieldwork in almost every session. They are able to use what they have learned in practical situations thanks to these encounters. For instance, in the urban education course, groups of students visit into the neighbourhood to map the educational opportunities or assets within a several block radius. Later, they build a small-scale research project around interviewing locals based on the questions raised by this investigation. 

Each Early Childhood Education Programs participant spends at least one semester in a classroom at the laboratory school Mills College Children's School.
Early childhood-focused students in the Educational Leadership Programs have the option of taking part in year-long field placements. These internships broaden students' professional networks while enhancing students' leadership abilities and comprehension of the intricate problems that affect the early childhood industry.
