In Oakland, California, there is a private liberal arts institution for women called Mills College. The graduate programmes at Mills are open to students of all genders and are a women's institution for undergraduate women and gender non-binary students.
Transfer students, women who postponed starting college, and those who want to finish their bachelor's degrees can all apply to Mills. If 24 or more transferable semester courses have been completed, the necessity for a high school transcript is waived.
