Admission of Methodist University

A freshman candidate with a 3.0 high school GPA, a New SAT score of 980 or higher (19 or better on the ACT), and a solid college preparatory coursework should be considered for normal admission. Students who do not meet those requirements will be assessed for admission on a case-by-case basis. Every student is encouraged to apply and have their application evaluated by our admissions committee.

A student who was admitted to Methodist University based on his or her high school achievement and has a 2.0 GPA on any amount of college level work is normally acceptable to Methodist University. If the student was not admitted based on his or her high school grades, he or she must complete 12 to 31 semester hours of transferable credits in order to be admitted. All transfer students are encouraged to apply so that their files can be reviewed by our admissions committee.
