The Main Union Township Campus, spread over 121.5 acres, is the university's primary campus. It is home to academic facilities like Nancy Thompson Library, Human Rights Institute, and Jack Lane Centre for Academic Success, providing students with state-of-the-art infrastructure to supplement their academic requirements. The Liberty Hall Campus in Union and the East Campus in Hillside are the other prominent university campuses. The average annual cost of attending the university is around USD 31,000 per annum.
The university has over 160 student clubs, sororities, and fraternities. These allow students from across the campus to get involved and have an active student life throughout their education. The campus also provides counseling and health services to ensure the welfare of students during their stay. The Kean University Cougars participate in numerous sports tournaments across the country. They also organize intramural events within the campus to ensure students remain physically fit and active.
