Admission of Florida National University

Florida National University has an open-door admissions policy, which means that all qualified applicants are accepted regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, national origin, age, or physical disability.

Enrollment is available at any time. According to the admissions rules, any student with a high school diploma or a GED certificate is eligible to attend. Open admissions procedures, which guarantee admittance, are all about access and opportunity: any student who has completed high school can pursue a college degree.

Although SAT or ACT test scores are not required for Open Enrollment Admission universities, students are required to complete a diagnostic test to assess their ability. The test will be used to evaluate if students will need to complete remedial or developmental courses before enrolling in college-level courses.

The policy of open admission does not imply that entrance to specific programmes is unrestricted. It does, however, imply that these limitations are flexible enough to allow pupils to improve their academic standing by removing inadequacies through remedial work. To meet prerequisites/co-requisites, new students seeking admission to a certain programme must submit relevant transcripts and participate in a placement testing. When new students meet the precise entrance requirements for a given curriculum, they can be enrolled in that curriculum and stay in it as long as they make adequate progress and stay enrolled on a continuing basis as required by their curriculum.
