Age Requirements & Interview
To be considered for admission to DeVry University, students must first meet with an Admissions Advisor (Admissions Representative in Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Nebraska) and submit an application. All other general and specialized entrance requirements, such as age, prior education, and appraisal of proficiency in basic and required abilities for college-level work, must be met.

Students must be at least 17 years old on the first day of classes, whether they study online or on campus.

 

Prior Academic Achievements
At least one of the following criteria must be met in your prior educational history:

  • Have a minimum of an Associate Degree from a DeVry-approved post-secondary institution.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a sufficient amount of qualifying college-level work accomplished at DeVry-recognized post-secondary schools, with grades of at least C (70%) or a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.00. (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Have a minimum AFQT (Armed Forces Qualification Test) score of 60 on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) for military entrance, as documented on an original score report
