Admission of The College of Saint Rose

Transcripts from high school and college/university are required as part of the application process. World Education Services, Inc. (WES) or Educational Credentials Evaluators may be needed of students to present transcripts (ECE). WES and/or ECE will provide the evaluation results to the College.
If English is not the student's native language, he or she must take and submit the SAT, ACT, International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam to the Admissions office. To be considered for admission to The College of Saint Rose, you must have a TOEFL score of 500 on the paper-based exam, 173 on the computer-based exam, or 80 on the Internet-based exam. For admission, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 is necessary.
Fill out the Financial Certification form. The Certification of Finances (liquid finances) form certifies a student's ability to fund his or her studies and is required for the I-20 immigration form to be issued. The completed application and Financial Certification forms should be addressed to The College of Saint Rose, 432 Western Avenue, Albany, NY 12203-1490, USA.
Submit an essay on any of the application's suggested subjects.
The Mantoux (PPD) skin test is needed of international students six months prior to arrival. If the test results are positive, further x-rays are required to determine whether tuberculosis is active. Prior to arriving on campus, physician paperwork regarding x-ray results and any appropriate medicines is requested. If medication is required, it should be started prior to entering the country.
