After high school graduation, transfer applicants must have achieved 30 hours of transferable credit. The 30-hour requirement does not include Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or dual-enrollment credit. On a 4.0 scale, transfer candidates should have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better. 3.0 is recommended. Transfer applicants should take freshman-level English, science, and mathematics courses relevant to their desired major at Clemson. All transfer students must be in good standing and eligible to return to their previous school.
