Admission of Clarion University of Pennsylvania

Students are invited to join our Honors Program if they meet both of the following criteria:

A passing grade on one of the following tests is required:
On the NEW SAT, a minimum SAT score of 1220 is required.
On the OLD SAT, a minimum SAT score of 1150 (mathematics and critical reading only) was required. An ACT composite score of 25 or higher was also required.
GPA of 3.64 or 92 percent in high school is required.

Students who do not match both of these criteria are still eligible to apply. The following steps will be included in the application process:

An in-depth interview
a written declaration
Observations and suggestions (optional)
Note that recommendations are often given by instructors or guidance counsellors who are familiar with candidates' academic backgrounds.
Other characteristics such as exhibiting leadership, communication abilities, and so on will be taken into account.
