Undergraduate Admissions at Central Connecticut State University


Over 100 undergraduate major courses are available at the university. Students must have finished their schooling and held an equivalent diploma degree from a recognised high or preparatory school.

Admissions Requirements for Undergraduates

  • On a scale of 2.0 to 4.0, the cumulative grade point is
  • Transcripts from high school or a class rank (if required)
  • Official SAT or ACT entrance test results from high school or the college board (Optional)
  • Letters of endorsement from two people
  • Statements of Personal Interest
  • High school lasts four years. English
  • Social Science for three years (US History)
  • Math classes for three years (Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra II)
  • Two years of scientific research (one lab science must)
  • Three years of intensive study of a single foreign language

The admissions counsellor will review several parts of your past high school records and, if necessary, conduct an interview to clarify information on your application papers.

 

Graduate Admissions at Central Connecticut State University

CCSU provides more than 41 graduate degrees in a variety of subjects including science, teaching, and the arts. It also provides roughly 20 graduate certificate programmes in diverse specialities in addition to these. Graduate students can enrol in either full-time (9 hours or more) or part-time (9 hours or less) study at CCSU (8 hours or less). Although applications are accepted in the autumn and spring, various programmes have distinct deadlines for admission.
