One of the following entrance standards must be met by students: A cumulative GPA of 2.6 is required. A composite ACT of 18 is required (SAT score of 970 or above) Place in the top 60% of your high school class
Each semester of high school, students should take at least five hard courses in essential academic areas, such as the ones listed above, to become college-ready. Furthermore, students should be aware that failing to complete the aforementioned courses may jeopardise their admission to Black Hills State University as well as their eligibility for some federal financial aid. If student athletes fail to complete the requisite education, they may lose their eligibility to compete at the collegiate level.
