Requirements in English
If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate English competency by providing one of the following:
- TOEFL or similar test: A minimum TOEFL score of 577 on paper and 90 on the internet is required.
- An IELTS score of at least 7.0 is required.
- A minimum of 540 points on the SAT ERBW component.
- An ACT English component score of at least 23 is required.
- a minimum score of 75 on the Duolingo English Test
Undergraduate Admissions at Benedictine University
More than 60 undergraduate programmes are available at the institute, some of which are traditional and others of which are online. Biology, Business Analytics, Chemistry, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, and Data Science are just a few examples. Following the methods outlined below, you can apply to these programmes quickly and easily:
For the fall semesters, the University offers rolling admissions throughout the year. Students should apply during the first semester of their senior year of high school, and overseas students should apply and prepare their documents at least three months ahead of time. It takes roughly a week for the application to be reviewed.
Admissions Criteria
- Fill out your application form using one of the methods listed above.
- Official high school transcripts, as well as SAT and ACT results, are required.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is necessary, as well as an ACT minimum score of 21 and a SAT minimum score of 800. 1060 is the minimum score that is recommended (Math and Critical Reasoning combined score)
- If you have less than 20 credits, your high school credits will be required as well. International students would be required to submit an evaluation of their foreign credit.
- If an undergraduate applicant does not satisfy the standards, a personal statement, seventh-semester transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from a high school counsellor may be required.
Graduate Admissions at Benedictine University
Benedictine University offers over 16 graduate programmes in clinical psychology, business analytics, nutrition and wellness, accounting, and business administration, among others, to students from all over the world who want to study in the United States. Some of the courses at the university are also available online. The application process is the same as for on-campus programmes, however overseas students do not need to apply for a visa.
