Professional practice allows students studying exercise and sports science and sports management to participate in practical work rotations in the sports sector. The students must conduct practical job placements, which can take place in places like sporting clubs and organisations, recreational facilities, local and state government, and research. Placements can be done on a part-time basis on an ongoing basis or in a block style for a few weeks, such as a 2-4 week period.

• Students are given the opportunity to apply the ideas they have learned in their studies in a real-world setting.
• Students learn about the sports industry's scope and the numerous opportunities available to them.
• Students learn how to apply the skills, information, attitudes, and characteristics needed to work in the sports sector in a practical setting.
• Students have the opportunity to network, be mentored, and learn from respected sports industry representatives.
