  • Founded in 1845, the Queen's University Belfast is a public research institute in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Over 24,000 students from 153 countries are enrolled in 200+ undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs taught by 15 schools (3 faculties), namely the School of Law, Queen's Management School and School of Psychology. Some of the courses offered are Anthropology, Economics and Accounting, Irish, Social Work etc. 
  • The Queen's University Belfast campus is located in the heart of Belfast, and the McClay Library houses 1.2 million volumes, manuscripts, journals, periodicals, 2,000 reader seats and computer facilities. Some academic facilities include the Ewald Microscopy Facilities, EEECS LEGO lab, Astrophysics Research Centre Teaching Observatory, Sonic Laboratory etc. 
  • The university offers various postgraduate research programs in areas like Aerospace Engineering, Cognition and Culture, Philosophy, Translation etc. Short Open Learning courses such as Japanese Culture Experience, Ulster's Victorian Railways, The Blackbird Book club etc., are excellent ways to enhance knowledge. INTO at Queen's is a collaboration that serves as a foundation education program for university degree programs. These include academic and English courses like IN sessional English, Aerospace Engineering, Management, Summer Schools etc. 
  • The study abroad program, comprising the Erasmus program, Summer/Winter Schools, Study Abroad etc., allows overseas students to study at Queen's for a semester or year. The estimated undergraduate cost of attending is GBP 4,530 for Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland students, and GBP 9,250 for England, Scotland, Wales and the Islands students. 
  • Financial aid options include scholarships, loans, bursaries etc., like the Rob Saunders Rugby Scholarship, Queen's Loyalty and Scholarship, Early Bird Reward. Accommodation is available at residences like Grant House, Elms BT1, College Gardens and Willow Walk, comprising 3,400+ rooms (mainly en-suite). There are over 200 student clubs and societies engaged in sports, cultural, artistic and academic activities. 98% of Queen's University Belfast students find employment within six months of graduating.
