Each course has its own set of entry requirements. Some programmes will require you to have a particular level of understanding in a subject before you can begin your degree; this is referred to as a subject requirement. All courses require you to meet a certain educational standard and obtain certain exam grades in order to be admitted.

With their course information, most courses will give a typical offer. All courses at the University of Reading are competitive, so even if you have (or are expected to have) marks that match our typical offer, you will not be assured a place on a degree programme.

Furthermore, we consider each submission on its own merits, so don't rule yourself out.
