Admission of University of Central Lancashire

International undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma, certificate, or equivalent course experience to be eligible for admission. Students from English-speaking countries or who have completed a course taught in English are exempt from taking English language tests. Other international candidates, however, will be required to submit English language test results regardless of whether they apply for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.

 

Students interested in postgraduate programmes must have a bachelor's degree or must have completed an equivalent course. The home country also determines the eligibility requirements for the degree programmes. 

 

To be eligible for UG and PG programmes, Indian students must meet the following criteria:

UG programmes
  • Year 0: Overall 50%, with a minimum of 55% in the program-related subject (the university authorities consider a 3% margin based on the reputation of the college or institution)
  • Year 1: Overall 60% in all the boards'
English language requirements for PG programmes
  • 75% in Class 12 or 70% in both Classes 11 and 12 if the overall percentage in Class 12 is at least 65%
  • IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
Master’s and PG programmes
  • Overall 55% in bachelor’s or equivalent level
