The following are the requirements for international/Indian aspirants to apply to University College London:

1. Requirement for a Basic Education

The following are the minimum program-specific basic education requirements for university application:

Academic Requirements for Undergraduates (either):

• Grade 12 CISCE or CBSE Indian School Certificate with minimum scores of 90, 85, 85, 85, and 85 in five major subjects
• Bachelor's degree first-year record* with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class (from an Indian university recognized by UCL)

*Applicants must have begun their bachelor's degree programme and finished the first year with the above score.

Academic Requirements for Graduate Students (either):

• Upper second-class (2:1) bachelor's degree from a recognised university with either:
• 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, or 3.3/4.0 as a minimal overall CGPA
• A minimum of 60% of the total
• Lower second-class (2:2) bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with either:
• 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, or 3.0/4.0 as a minimal overall CGPA
• A minimum of 55% of the total
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• a degree in medicine or dentistry
• Philosophical Master's Degree
• Doctor of Philosophy

Academic Requirements for an MBA (either):

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with one of the following:
• 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, or 3.0/4.0 as a minimal overall CGPA
• A minimum of 55% of the total
• Master's diploma
• a degree in medicine or dentistry
• Philosophical Master's Degree
• Doctor of Philosophy

2. Exam Requirements that are standardised

• UG: For Indian applicants, it is not compulsory.
• MS: Some programmes need the GRE.
• MBA: A minimum GMAT score of 600 is required.
